About Us
Abundant Love Home Care Services was founded by Rosalind C. Bland,
whose journey into caregiving began not as a business venture, but as a calling rooted in love.
Rosalind earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Christian Psychology
and spent more than a decade building a successful career in Corporate America.
However, her life changed dramatically following the loss of her mother.
Her father, who was living with advanced Alzheimer's disease, needed care and support.
Determined to provide him with the dignity, compassion, and love he deserved,
Rosalind welcomed him into her home and personally coordinated his care.
During that journey, she experienced firsthand the challenges families face when searching fordependable,
compassionate caregivers. She understood the emotional weight of caregiving, the uncertainty of trusting others
with a loved one's well-being, and the overwhelming desire to know that someone is being genuinely cared for—not simply assisted.
As she navigated this season of life, she often reflected on the words her mother had shared with her:
"Ask God to show you what you are called to do."
The elderly had always held a special place in Rosalind's heart. Through caring for her father, the answer became clear.
Abundant Love Home Care Services was born.
On October 31, 2013, Rosalind's labor of love caring for her father came to an end. Yet the purpose it revealed continued to grow.
Today, with more than 16 years of experience serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families throughout North Carolina, Rosalind has transformed her personal experience into a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping others navigate the caregiving journey with
"Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn't jealous. It doesn't sing its own praises.
It isn't arrogant. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered." — 1 Corinthians 13: 4-5
